Genuine British Army Individual Protection Kit as issued to the British troops for the construction of NBC Shelter.

A strong cord, tightly criss-crossed and held in position by stakes, supports a tarpaulin which in turn supports an earthen ceiling of up to 27 inches.

The kit comes complete with six strong lightweight 24.5cm aluminum pegs for anchoring and 16mtr of nylon cord.

Groundsheet measures approx. 2.7x1.5mtr.

This is a brand new Bergen pack in DPM camouflage, Rucksack 90 Pattern (with 2 side pouches).

The PLCE Bergen features large top-loading compartment with integral compression bag, closed with an adjustable drawstring; zippers and clips on left and right for attachment of Bergen side pockets for extra 10L capacity each, zipper closed pocket on front for additional small items, elasticated top flap whick secures down onto the Bergen with fastex buckles.

The top flap also features two zipper pocket, one on the top which is in its own expanding compartment for maps and other material, and one on the underside for storage of essential flat items.

Carrying handle on top of the pack allows for easy transport, and the internal rigid light aluminum alloy frame bars and padding on back and shoulder straps allows for a comfortable carry.

Shoulder straps are also supported with adjustable cordura nylon straps which help to distribute the weight of the top of the PLCE Infantry Bergen more evenly over the shoulder instead of relying only on the upper back area.
